As above: seteventhandler is bugged/not fully functional inside Scilab

probably some fonts are not installed on your machine ?

Unfortunately, Scilab 5.0.x does not offer support for Intel integrated
cards under Linux.

We are actively working on a solution for these problems for the next
Scilab 5.1.x

May I suggest to post some bug reports using Bugzilla ?
