Dear Eduardo Tarasiuk,

I am writing in connection with your question concerning different ZIP files.

usually toolbox authors submit only the sources. Then the Scilab team creates the full versions for Windows and Linux. This is called Atoms Compilation Chain. Everything works correctly when installing a toolbox with atomsInstall().

However, IPD has never been compilated by Atoms Compilation Chain. This is the reason for problems that occur when trying to install IPD using atomsInstall(). I uploaded the full Windows version so users can download and extract it to the contrib directory.

Best regards
Harald Galda, Dr. Eng. (J)

Betreff: [scilab-Users] IPD Toolbox. Manual installation problem

Very Sorry

My Problem, copying the installed SCILAB\contrib\archives\IPD-5-0-Windows.zip
in a standalone machine and executing the loader.sce worked on a different
machine.

My only open question is why the zip included in the
Toolboxes download is very different from the zip archived by ATOMS in the contrib\archives folder.

   Thanks !
    Eduardo
