It would be nice if you could try again Scilab 5.2.1 to see if it
happens or not
I made a small change to improve the Java detection (the previous was
not Apple-official) [1] & [2]
If it is working with Scilab 5.2.1 and not with Scilab 5.2.2, this might
be the cause of the issue.
If Scilab 5.2.1 works, could you give me the output of:
/usr/libexec/java_home --arch x86_64 --failfast --version 1.6+
and
ls /System/Library/Frameworks/JavaVM.framework/Home/
