Scilab 5.2.2 fails to start on Mac OS 10.6.3

I have the same problem on my MacBook Pro, but not on my MacMini.
 Same OS version BUT, on the MacMini, File System in not case sensitive!

It is not the first time that I find that some application was developed
 on non case sensitive FS installation and then (very likely because
 misspelled filenames) it doesn't run on case sensitive OS installation.

I would suggest to check which FS you have.
