Xcos problems on MacBook

Hi all,

can any of you tell me why Xcos does not work on my MacBook? Even when I open one of the Xcos demos (in this case the RLC Modelica demo) and run it causes a freeze of Xcos and gives the following error messages:

I have a MacBook late 2009 with Snow Leopard 10.6.3 and I have installed Scilab 5.2.2.
