[scilab-Users] What are your thoughts on R/Scilab?

thank Charles. this is one way to maximize benefit from open source. scilab
and R provide similar libraries and language features. R originally started
as a statistical environment but has lately moved towards becoming a general
computational tool like scilab and matlab. probably, the most important part
of my code is speeding up loops with C/C++ since I will be doing extensive
monte carlo simulations. so, either of scilab an R will just do fine.
