[Scilab-users] favor

Dear All,
 
This is not directly a "scilab" request by it has to be intended to be
used within ...
 
I'm trying to find an equivalent to "@ECHO OFF" (under Windows) in a
shell under linux OS ... I want to echo precious information's (thus I
want to avoid /dev/null)
