[Scilab-Dev] About contrib folder

Hello Laurent,

In Scilab 5, each macro '.sci' file is compiled (or transformed to
bytecode) to '.bin' before execution. In my understanding, you modified
the '.sci' file but forgot to update the '.bin' file and thus on
execution you observe the old behavior (from the old '.bin' file).

Apart from this issue, I strongly suggest you to retrieve the source
version of the module and make modification on it directly (publicly if
possible). This will be easier to manage on a long period.

Regards,
