findobj()

I am using Scilab 4.1.2 under Win XP.

1. findobj('Tag','my figure tag') does not find a graphic 
figure, though it can find GUI figures and uicontrols. Is 
that correct?

2. I have also tried findobj() in Scilab 5.0.2, but because 
that has only the graphic figure, findobj() cannot find it.

3. I have problems all the time with the graphics in Scilab 
5.0.2 and often it hangs and must be stopped with Task 
Manager, which also takes long time... ;-(

Would be grateful for your comments.
