Thanks but it didn't help. I'm using Java 1.6.0_11 and I've added $JAVA_HOME/lib/amd64 and $JAVA_HOME/lib/amd64/server to my LD_LIBRARY_PATH for the following libraries : libjava.so, libverify.so and libjvm.so
Setting the JAVA_HOME variable didn't change anything.
