In the context of the Google Summer of Code 2010, we are working in
providing an importer from Simulink to Xcos. However, I don't see an
export to MDL in a close future.
However, we are considering an exporter to the SysML format [1] and we
are in touch with some partners in order to introduce some checkers on
the schema.
