[Scilab-users] ASCII and Serial Toolbox

Hello,
I'm using scilab 6.0.0 and the "Serial Toolbox".

I could establishe a serial communication (RS485).

I'm using the fuction "result = writeserial(h,buf)". The variable buf is a
string. How can I send asci codes greater than 127? For example I want send
a "À" which will be represente as 0xC0 on the RS485 bus.
